dwell rooted
IN CHRIST + IN TRUTH
a place called home
Dwell Rooted began before I knew what it meant. Somewhere along the way I realized, this message wasn’t for the world, the message was for me.
It wasn’t something that grew out of spectacular experiences, it’s something that grew in the simple, mundane days of life. While I was searching for a place to be mine in this world, all along Jesus was building it in me, a place called home.
A home where He dwells within me, where His love runs deep, and I am fully known. A place of rest where I get to talk with Him personally, seek His face, and know Him deeper than ever before. It’s our secret place. A sacred space that is ever growing in wonder of Him and His truth.
A place where I dwell, rooted in His love and truth. It’s Home.
from my journal
steadfast in the middle
Staying hopeful in a “not yet” season can feel like a balancing act.
It’s the in-between of where we are and where we hope to be.
more than skin deep
No person has ever sought something from God with their
whole heart and was left empty.
The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.
Isaiah 58:11-12
